Black Summer
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Track #1 from the album Unlimited Love

Main Author's Notes
This beginning of the new year brought us new melodies from the pepper lands. After 6 years of silence, following the album "The Getaway" and the subsequent departure of Josh Klinghoffer for the reinstatement of John Frusciante as a member of the band, brings us a new song from the "original members", or at least the best known band the Peppers have ever had.
The first song released with Frusciante after 15 years (the release of the last single "Hump de Bump" brought "Joe" and "Save This Lady" as unreleased pieces) brings us a melodic riff, courtesy of John, as we are used to.
The song develops in a different way to what we are used to, where Smith doesn't have such a big preponderance but Flea does with his melodic lines and with a guitar solo, like in the old days, by John.
A song to have fun being Anthony's voice and enjoy this comeback of the band.
