Intially I was a little bit dissapointed when it was announced that HigeDan would not be back for Spy x Family new songs but, the next sentence was like a Full Restore applied to me immediately after a near K.O, and that was, Bump of Chicken will be in charge of the OP, I got to know this band some years back and they normally do their job with flying colors when in charge of anime songs, the debate is still ongoing on whether this song was better than the first one, personally, not sure if better but at the very least it's gotta be on par with last one, I wouldn't feel this was like a downgrade and conversely, that the level is being kept high but well, a matter of taste at the end of the day, and there are a lot of things to appreciate in this song. So this time we got a soft and lovely melody that goes along with some beautiful lyrics choices from Bump of Chicken that basically appeal to the fact that despite this starting as a make-believe family, somehow each of their members is starting to see things different, cherishing and getting attached to that life style that when the time comes to let it go, maybe it won't be so easy for them as they had thought (specially for Anya, her life wasn't even good from the beginning), kind of following the line as HigeDan did on Mixed Nuts with theirs but this time in a sweet tone with a little bit of melancholy added in the mix. And last but not least, if you want to put your stamina or coordination to test, or are in need for arm excercise, well, the drums on this song can help you to add variety to your daily routine, hope you enjoy.
